Please take time to read through all terms and conditions before agreeing to rent a rack with Little Sunshine Preloved.

Little Sunshine Preloved is a second-hand market for the sale of baby, children and adult fashion items.

Pricing, Inclusions and Exclusions

Single Rack: $30 per week + 10% commission from your total sales.

A single rack includes up to 30 hanging items and 4 accessories for sale.

Double Rack: $55 per week + 10% commission from your total sales.

A double rack includes up to 60 hanging items and 8 accessories for sale.

We are a preloved clothing store especially created for babies, kids and adults. This means our most popular items are clothes and shoes for babies and children, as well as adult clothing that is seasonally appropriate and currently on trend. We accept most clothes and larger accessories, including male and female clothes, hats, bags, shoes, belts, headbands and scarfs. We are unable to accept jewellery, watches, sunglasses and smaller accessories.

Underwear, lingerie and bathers can only be sold if they are brand new with tags. 

All items sold must be owned by the individual renting the rack or a second party that has given the rack renter permission to sell their items. Selling stolen items or someone else’s belongings without their permission is forbidden. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing that you have the rights to the items that you bring for sale.

It is strictly forbidden to sell bootleg items, adult entertainment, drugs, dangerous goods, weapons, plants, furniture or grocery items. Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to inform the police of any malpractice. The rack-renter is fully responsible for any damages as a result of failure to comply to these conditions.

All items need to be washed, clean, and pet-hair free prior to sale. Shoes must be washed and in good condition. If any items are faulty or damaged, this must be clearly identified on their price tag so that the customer is aware prior to buying the item.

Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to remove any items that we believe to be unfit for sale, including (but not limited to) stained, dirty, damaged or inappropriate items.



Payment and Cancellations

Full payment of the rack rental must be made at the time of making your booking.

If you are unable to commence your rental on your scheduled start date, you can reschedule/postpone your booking with a minimum of 72 hour's notice.

Cancellations must be made at least 15 days prior to the rack rental start date to receive a refund. Cancellations within 14 days prior to your rack rental start date are non-refundable.

If you have commenced your rental period and need to cancel prior to the scheduled end date, please let us know. We will pay your profits, minus 10%, to your nominated bank account within 7 days of you collecting your unsold items, or within 7 days of your rack rental completion if you opt to donate your unsold items to Little Sunshine Preloved. No partial refunds are given for cancellation during the rental period with days left.


Security

Please note, all items that have been brought into the store to sell are at the rack renter’s risk.

Little Sunshine Preloved takes no responsibility for, and is not liable for damages from fire, water damage, try on damage, natural disaster, burglary, vandalism or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 

We take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of your items, such as having an alarm and security system, and reporting any witnessed thefts to police. However, as is the nature of retail, unfortunately sometimes things go missing or are stolen. Little Sunshine Preloved does not take any responsibility for missing or stolen items, and is unable to compensate for any loss.


Making a Booking

You can book an appointment to set up your rack rental online via our online booking system. Alternatively, you can call Little Sunshine Preloved or book in store during staffed hours.

An appointment to set up can be made from Tuesday - Saturday (we are closed on Sunday's and Monday's). Appointment times are available in 60 minute increments. If your appointment isn't until later in the day, we will schedule your rack rental to start the following day so that you don't miss out on any sales time.

Racks can be rented in weekly instalments, and you can book for as many weeks as you like.


Setting Up and Pricing

At your appointment time, you can bring in your clothes and accessories for sale. We will create an account for you with our partner company, Zellr. This is where we enter the prices for your items, where you can track your sales in real time, check your booking details and update your personal information. We will work together during your appointment to enter prices for each of your items into Zellr. We will print your custom swing tags, and provide all coat hangers and displays that you may require to hang your items. We do not allow customers to bring their own display, or to alter the property of Little Sunshine Preloved in any way. Please allow roughly 30-60 minutes to price and set up your rack.

You can track your item sales in real time through Zellr. You can replace sold items with new garments as soon as 5 items have sold. You can continue to restock your rack as many times as you like throughout your rental period, as long as a minimum of 5 more items have sold between restocks. You can restock anytime within opening hours, with out the need to book an appointment with us.

If you want to change the price of an item throughout your rental period, a new price must be created through Zellr to update the system. Our staff can assist you with this. If you wish to put a discount on your whole rack, we require at least 24 hour's notice. Every item in your inventory must be included in the discount, and the discount amount must be 50% off of the original price.

Little Sunshine Preloved has a strict no return or exchange policy. We are not responsible for any faulty products. It is the rack-renter’s responsibility to inform the buyers of any faults or defects on an item’s price tag.

For fire safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to leave any items on the floor or in front of emergency exits. When setting up and packing up your items, please do not leave any boxes, baskets or bags used to transport your items in the store. We reserve the right to remove and dispose of these at our discretion. 


Packing Up

On your final rental day, we will move your remaining items to our 'last chance' rack. This lets customers know this is their last opportunity to purchase your items before they are no longer available in store. We will pack up your unsold items for you, at COB on your final rental day. Your items will then be ready for you to collect any time during staffed hours. We will hold your items for up seven days for you to collect at your convenience. After seven days, a surcharge of $5 per day will be charged for storing your items, and will be deducted from your profits. Any items that remain uncollected for 21 days after your final rental day will become property of Little Sunshine Preloved. Alternatively, you can opt to donate any unsold items to Little Sunshine Preloved to resell or donate at our discretion.

We endeavour to ensure all unsold items are included when we pack up your rack. However, unfortunately sometimes things go missing or are misplaced. If we find any outstanding items after your rack rental has ended, we will try to contact you via phone call, SMS and email. We will store your remaining items for two weeks from the date that we attempt to contact you. After two weeks, any unclaimed items become the property of Little Sunshine Preloved.


Payouts

We will pay your profits, minus 10%, to your nominated bank account within seven day's of the collection of your unsold items, or within seven day's of your rack rental completion if you opt to donate your left over items to Little Sunshine Preloved. We are only able to make this payment to a valid Australian Bank account. Payment can not be made in cash.


Advertising

Little Sunshine Preloved has permission to advertise your items for sale throughout your rental period, by posting photos and/or videos to our social media pages and website at our discretion.
 


Agreement

By making a booking you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to change these T&Cs at any time.
