Please take time to read through all terms and conditions before agreeing to rent a rack with Little Sunshine Preloved.
Little Sunshine Preloved is a second-hand market primarily for the sale of baby and children's fashion items. We also sell women’s fashion, however the selection is thoroughly curated and limited to a small amount of excellent-quality, highly sought after brands and styles.

Pricing, Inclusions and Exclusions
$1 per item + 20% commission from your total sales
Inclusions:
- Clothing items and accessories (shoes, hats, bags etc)
- 2 week rental time
- All inclusive - we price, set-up, sell, and pack-down all items for you
Our most popular selling items are clothes and accessories that are seasonally appropriate and currently on trend. We accept most clothes and larger accessories, including hats, bags, shoes, belts, headbands and scarfs. We are unable to accept jewellery, watches, sunglasses and smaller accessories. Underwear, lingerie and bathers can only be sold if they are brand new with tags.
All items sold must be owned by the individual renting, or a second party that has given the renter permission to sell their items. Selling stolen items or someone else’s belongings without their permission is forbidden. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing that you have the rights to the items that you bring for sale.
It is strictly forbidden to sell bootleg items, adult entertainment, drugs, dangerous goods, weapons, plants, furniture or grocery items. Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to inform the police of any malpractice. The renter is fully responsible for any damages as a result of failure to comply to these conditions.
All items need to be washed, clean, and pet-hair free prior to sale. Shoes must be washed and in good condition. If any items are faulty or damaged, this must be clearly identified on their price tag. Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to remove any items that we believe to be unfit for sale, including (but not limited to) stained, dirty, damaged or inappropriate items.
Payment and Cancellations
Full payment of the rental fee must be made at the time of the rental commencement. If you have commenced your rental period and need to cancel prior to the scheduled end date, please let us know. We will pay your profits, minus 20%, to your nominated bank account within seven days of you collecting your unsold items, or within seven days of your rack rental completion if you opt to donate your unsold items to Little Sunshine Preloved. No partial refunds are given for cancellation during the rental period with days left.
Security
Please note, all items that have been brought into the store to sell are at the renter’s risk. Little Sunshine Preloved takes no responsibility for, and is not liable for damages from fire, water damage, try on damage, natural disaster, burglary, vandalism or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of your items, such as having an alarm and security system, and reporting any witnessed thefts to police. However, as is the nature of retail, unfortunately sometimes things go missing or are stolen. Little Sunshine Preloved does not take any responsibility for missing or stolen items, and is unable to compensate for any loss.
Setting Up and Pricing
During your appointment, we will go through your items for sale and decide which are suitable to be included in your rental. We choose items that meet our shoppers’ aesthetic and practical needs, based on customer demographics and previous shopping behavioural data. We can only look at a maximum of 30 items per appointment. If you have more than 30 items, please book two appointments in a row.
We are able to price your items using our pricing guide, which has been created using data from previous sales, experience and item conditions. The price of your items is at your discretion, so if you prefer to set specific pricing for individual items, we can discuss this. We print and attach your custom swing tags, and provide all coat hangers and displays to hang your items. We do not allow customers to bring their own display, or to alter the property of Little Sunshine Preloved in any way.
For fire safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to leave any items on the floor or in front of emergency exits. When setting up and packing up your items, please do not leave any boxes, baskets or bags used to transport your items in the store. We reserve the right to remove and dispose of these at our discretion.
Sales Tracking
We will create an account for you in our customer portal. This is where we enter the prices for your items, where you can track your sales in real time, check your booking details and update your personal information.
Discounts
You are able to put your items on sale once only throughout your rental period. Once the discount is applied, it cannot be removed, reduced or increased. You can discount your items at any stage throughout your rental period. We put ‘discount stickers’ on each of your items tags to ensure customers are aware of the reduced price. You can change individual prices of your items, or put a percentage discount onto all of your items. Our staff can assist you with this.
Little Sunshine Preloved has a strict no return or exchange policy. We are not responsible for any faulty products. It is the renter’s responsibility to inform the buyers of any faults or defects on an item’s price tag.
Packing Up
On your final rental day, we will pack up your unsold items for you. Your items will then be ready for you to collect from 12pm onwards. If you are unable to collect your items on this day, please let us know ASAP. A surcharge of $5 per day will be charged for storing your items, and will be deducted from your profits. We will store any uncollected items for two weeks, after which they will become property of Little Sunshine Preloved. Alternatively, you can opt to donate any unsold items to Little Sunshine Preloved to resell or donate at our discretion.
We endeavour to ensure all unsold items are included when we pack up your rental. However, unfortunately sometimes things go missing or are misplaced. If we find any outstanding items after your rental has ended, we will try to contact you via phone call, SMS and email. We will store your remaining items for two weeks from the date that we attempt to contact you. After two weeks, any unclaimed items become the property of Little Sunshine Preloved.
Payouts
We will pay your profits, minus 20%, to your nominated bank account within seven day's of the collection of your unsold items, or within seven days’ of your rental completion if you opt to donate your left over items to Little Sunshine Preloved. Please ensure the bank account details you provide on this form are correct. If you have provided incorrect details, we may not be able to recover these funds and take no responsibility for lost funds. We are only able to make this payment to a valid Australian Bank account. Payment can not be made in cash.
Advertising
Little Sunshine Preloved has permission to advertise your items for sale throughout your rental period, by posting photos and/or videos to our social media pages and website at our discretion.
Agreement
By making a booking you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to change these T&Cs at any time.
