Terms and Conditions

Little Sunshine Preloved is a second-hand market primarily for the sale of baby and children's fashion items. We also sell women’s fashion, however the selection is thoroughly curated and limited to a small amount of excellent-quality, highly sought after brands and styles.

Little Sunshine Preloved Terms & Conditions

Rental Fees
$1 per item + 20% commission from your total sales
Payment of the rental fee is automatically deducted from your sales.

Inclusions:
- Clothing items and accessories (shoes, hats, bags etc.)
- Six week rental time
- All inclusive - we price, set-up, sell, and pack-down all items for you

Rental Period
Each rental period runs for six weeks (42 calendar days). The rental commences on the day that your items go out for sale. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing from the date that we receive your rental items.

At the completion of your rental, we will pack up any unsold items for you. You will receive an email to notify you that your items are ready to be collected. We can only store your items for up to 2 weeks. Any items not collected within 14 days of the email notification will become property of Little Sunshine Preloved to donate or resell at our discretion.

Customer Account and Communication
We will use your details provided to create an account for you in our renter portal. Here you will be able to access your rental information, such as sales tracking, inventory, and payout history.

We will communicate with you throughout your rental period via email, including the following:
-    Confirmation of your Customer Account creation 
-    An inventory list of your items for sale, including pricing
-    Updates to your rental account balance
-    Detailed payout transaction summary

Item Selection
You are required to book a rental appointment with us for an initial assessment of your items. We select items that meet our shoppers’ aesthetic and practical needs, based on customer demographics and previous shopping behavioural data. Any items not accepted during this assessment will be returned to you at the time of your appointment.

We are able to accept most clothing items and larger accessories that are seasonally appropriate and currently on trend. We are unable to accept jewellery, watches, sunglasses and smaller accessories. Underwear, lingerie, socks and singlets will only be accepted if they are brand new with tags. Bathers and sleepwear will only be sold if they are in excellent condition.

We are unable to accept any items that are faulty or damaged. All items need to be washed, clean, ironed, and pet-hair free prior to sale. Shoes must be washed and in good condition. We are unable to launder, steam/iron or repair any items. 

All items sold must be owned by the individual renting, or a second party that has given the renter permission to sell their items. Selling stolen items or someone else’s belongings without their permission is prohibited. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing that you have the rights to the items that you bring for sale.

Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to remove or reject any item that we believe to be unfit for sale, including (but not limited to) stained, dirty, damaged or inappropriate items.

Pricing and Discounts
Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to determine the selling price of your rental items. Pricing is determined using our pricing guide, which has been created using data from previous sales, item recommended retail price, item condition, and customer demand.

Any unsold items are automatically discounted 28 days after your rental has commenced. The discount percentage is at your discretion. Once the discount is applied, it cannot be removed, reduced or increased.

Cancellations
If you have commenced your rental period and would to cancel prior to the scheduled end date, please contact us. No partial refunds are given for early cancellation during the rental period.

Loss or Damage
All items brought into the store to sell are at the renter’s risk. Little Sunshine Preloved takes no responsibility for, and is not liable for damages from fire, water, try on damage, burglary, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Unfortunately, as is the nature of retail, sometimes things go missing or are stolen. Little Sunshine Preloved does not take any responsibility for missing or stolen items, and is unable to compensate for any loss.

Payouts
Accumulated rental earnings can be used as store credit anytime throughout your rental period. Rental profits are automatically paid into your nominated bank account at the end of each month. Please ensure the bank account details you provided are correct. Little Sunshine Preloved is not responsible for lost or delayed payment due to the provision of incorrect bank account details. Please allow 7-10 days for processing automated payments. Payment can only be made to a valid Australian Bank account. Payment can not be made in cash.

Advertising
Little Sunshine Preloved has permission to advertise your items for sale throughout your rental period, by posting photos and/or videos to our social media pages and website at our discretion.

Agreement
Little Sunshine Preloved reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. By placing your items for sale with Little Sunshine Preloved, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
